Nana Posy

and the Baby Bobcat

Nana Posy Series # 5

Once again, Nana Posy is having issues with “her” wildlife, who don’t always behave the way she would like. This time some bobcats are in her yard. As with the first four books in the series, children will appreciate the humorous story and realistic illustrations by Tyson Myers.

This humorous picture book will entertain children while building vocabulary and an appreciation of Nature. It will also help kids realize that staying calm in stressful situations can help them find solutions to the problems they face.

I am thrilled to announce the 7th and final (for now) book in the Nana Posy Series!

If your kids like a mystery and a chance to deepen their connection with Nature, this is one they will enjoy!

Thank you for helping to make this book # 1 on Amazon’s list of
“Hot New Releases!” I appreciate you!

Nana Posy and the Midnight Mockingbird

Nana Posy Series # 4

Once again, Nana Posy is having issues with the wildlife in her Arizona back yard and garden. This time it’s the Northern Mockingbird who is causing the problem.

Will a solution arrive before Nana Posy cuts down the bougainvillea where the mockingbird likes to sing?

“Nana Posy and the Midnight Mockingbird” is a humorous picture book that helps build children’s vocabulary and nature knowledge while showing them that even though we all have difficult challenges in our lives, each of us has the power to choose how we will react.

Nana Posy and the Christmas Concert

Nana Posy Series # 3

Even though Nana Posy has decorated, baked, and sung holiday songs in her terrible scratchy voice, she is having a hard time getting into a festive spirit. Isolation due to the pandemic has given her a bad case of the holiday blues.

Will something happen to lift her spirits, or will this be one of the saddest Christmas stories you ever read?

“Nana Posy and the Christmas Concert” deals honestly but gently with the challenges faced by everyone around the world because of the pandemic. Nana Posy’s style of talking to children, (“I’m sorry to tell you something sad, but I always want to be honest with you.”) will help kids navigate this time and understand that life can work in mysterious ways to bring joy even during the most difficult times.

Nana Posy and Quail Pie

Nana Posy Series # 2

Some pesky quail have been digging in the flower pots in Nana Posy’s backyard. She is not happy about this, and has been making some serious threats directed at the quail!

Will Nana Posy’s determination to have everything just so lead her to the drastic action suggested by the title?

The antics of the vivacious Nana Posy are once again brought to life by the author’s son, Tyson Myers, whose illustrations will appeal to those who love realistic renditions of nature.

Nana Posy’s Project

Nana Posy Series # 1

Introducing Nana Posy, who will challenge everything you thought you knew about grandmothers. She leads a life full of adventures, projects and possibilities, and, just between you and me, she’s a little bit persnickety. She likes the wildlife in her Arizona garden to behave a certain way, and when they don’t, she gets fired up.

In the first book of the series, spring is here, and Nana Posy is looking for a project. What happens when her grand scheme doesn’t work out exactly the way she planned?

The Nana Posy Series are picture books for “kids” of any age. They are illustrated by the author’s son, Tyson Myers, and are best when read with pizzazz!

I’m Going to Ride in the Pampas!

I have always loved horses. I am happy just to be around them, whether cleaning a stall, grooming, or just watching them in a field. Some of my life’s best memories revolve around riding these amazing creatures in some pretty magical places.

I’m Going to Ride in the Pampas!” is a rhyming picture book that takes readers around the world for adventures on horseback. This may technically be a children’s book, but it might appeal to the pent-up wanderlust in all of us.
